PURPOSE:To recover CO2, Ar and N2 from specified waste combustion gas economically and easily by treating the gas with selective adsorption separation in accordance with pressure swing adsorption process (PSA process). CONSTITUTION:Hydrocarbon fuel such as methane from a line 1 and air from a line 3 are fed to a low excess air ratio burner 5, and the fuel/air mixture is burnt while adjusting the residual O2 in the combustion gas to <=0.1wt%. Then, the obtd. combustion gas is sent to a first PSA apparatus 9 through a line 7 to adsorb CO2 using silica gel, etc. After desorbing adsorbed CO2 under reduced pressure, the CO2 is transported to a CO2 purifying apparatus 13, and a liquefying apparatus 17 through a line 11, and liquefied CO2 is discharged through a line 19. On one hand, the gas freed of CO2 is transported to a second PSA apparatus 23 through a line 21 where N2 is adsorbed to synthetic zeolite, etc. Then, adsorbed N2 is desorbed and high concn. N2 is obtd. through a line 25 and Ar is obtd. simultaneously through a line 27. |
