PURPOSE:To permit fixing of a visible image onto a photosensitive recording sheet without using a pressurizing device by obtaining the visible image when the 1st component flowing out of the inside of the microcapsules destroyed by sensing light of a prescribed wavelength reacts with a 3rd component, then curing the undestroyed capsules by the energy of a 2nd component. CONSTITUTION:A photodecomposable material which is decomposed by sensing the light of the prescribed wavelength (for example, 370X10<9>-400X10<-9>m) and releases an inert gas is incorporated into the shell parts 5a of the microcapsules 5. The microcapsules 5 are destroyed in accordance with an exposing pattern and the 1st component in the microcapsules 5 flows out of the microcapsules 5 when the microcapsules are exposed to the light of the prescribed wavelength. The flown-out 1st component discolors by reacting with the 3rd component 3 and the visible image is eventually formed (developed). The microcapsules 5 in the unexposed part are cured and fixing is completed when the energy of the separate wavelength sensing the 2nd component is applied over the entire surface on one face of a photosensitive recording medium 1. The image information formed on the photosensitive recording medium is thereby fixed without using the pressurizing device.
