PURPOSE:To enable a microprogram which performs exception interruption processing to be hot conscious that an information processor is working as a virtual computer, by resetting as VM mode flag when a specific exception detecting signal is supplied. CONSTITUTION:An exception detecting means 1 detects an access exception and an exception produced by execution of an instruction and applies plural exception detecting signals to a VM virtual computer mode resetting means 2. The means 2 delivers a VM mode resetting signal to reset a VM mode flag 4 if the exception detecting signal detects an exception that cannot be processed directly in a VM mode while the information processor is working in a VM mode. Thus the VM mode is automatically transited to a real computer mode and it is not required for a microprocessor that performs the exception interruption processing to be conscious that the information processor is working as a virtual computer. |
