PURPOSE:To increase the changing range of a variable with the same memory capacity and to improve the availability of the memory capacity, by providing an address converting circuit between an address input and a real address of a memory. CONSTITUTION:The input data X is converted into a real address X' of a ROM 2 by an address converting circuit 1. Then the data Y is read out of the address X'. In this case, an LSB is replaced with '0' as long as the MSB of the data X is equal to '1' and the LSB of the address X' is defined as an idle address to store the data on the even numbers. Thus the data X is increased.
