PURPOSE:To correct the right-left torsion of an upper guide plate and an upper roller and carry out accurate paper conveyance by swingingly moving a link back and forth through the contact between upper and lower rollers and the pressing action of right and left pressure-contact springs. CONSTITUTION:When an upper roller 2 is pressed against a lower roller 1 by means of springs 10, if a right-left torsion is generated on an upper guide plate 9, the right and left sides 9a, 9b of the guide plate 9 are separately supported by a swinging shaft 12. Also, since the inclination of links 13 can be varied by the relation between a connecting shaft 14 and a long hole 17 or between a connecting shaft 14 and a long hole 18, the right-left torsion of the guide plate 9 can be naturally corrected. Thereby, the upper guide plate 9 can be made parallel to a lower guide plate 11 and, accordingly, the feed rollers 1, 2 can also be brought into contact with each other with a uniform pressure in the longitudinal direction of shafts. Thereby, accurate paper conveyance can be carried out.
