PURPOSE:To permit uniform and good control of an electrostatic charge quantity with stable triboelectrostatic charge and sharply distributed triboelectrostatic charge by using a specific triphenyl methane compd. as a positive charge control agent. CONSTITUTION:The triphenyl methane compd. expressed by the formula is incorporated as the positive charge control agent into the titled toner. In the formula, R<1>, R<2>, and R<3> denote an alkyl group of 1-5C, substd. or unsubstd. aryl group, amino group, halogenated alkyl group or alkoxy group which may be simultaneously the same or different. Although the content of the positive charge control agent in the toner is not unequivocally limited, said content is confined to about 0.1-20pts.wt., more preferably about 0.2-10pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. resin binder. The toner which exhibits the triboelectrostatic chargeability with the stable positive polarity is thereby obtd. |
