<p>PURPOSE:To enable a video cassette in a storage room to be taken out through a single structure by providing a hollow part for the travelling of a transfer belt in the center of the floor of the storage room so that the transfer belt may be stretched therein in such manner that it may be free to travel and go up and down, and then controlling the travelling and going up and down of the belt. CONSTITUTION:By using an operation panel, the take-out mode and the position of a storage case are specified before a device is set in motion. Hereupon, an article transfer mechanism 11 moves to a position under a specified storage case 2, and then, a belt 16 goes up so as to support video cassettes 1A-1C from the lower part thereof. And then, when the belt 16 moves in the direction of an arrow, and the front of the video cassette 1A is detected by a position sensor 18B, the belt 16 stops. Subsequently, the belt 16 is lowered to a position lower than a stopper 2a, and the belt 16 is caused to travel in the direction of the arrow again. Hereupon, the video cassette 1B and the rest are engagingly stopped by the stopper 2a, and only the video cassette 1A is taken out. By virtue of this constitution, a video cassette can be taken out safely through a simple structure.</p> |
