PURPOSE:To aim at improvement in deciding accuracy of abnormal throttle opening degree, by detecting an accelerating operation directly when a throttle valve opening degree is controlled to an aimed value based on an amount of accelerating operation, and deciding as an abnormal operation when an accelerator is not operated and an accelerating operation amount sensor shows any value except zero. CONSTITUTION:A throttle control circuit 20 receives a value detected in each sensor of an intake air temperature sensor 5, a throttle opening degree sensor 7, a intake air pressure sensor 8, a water temperature sensor 11, an engine speed sensor 12, an acceleration sensor 13, and an acceleration pedal switch 16 and the like. The control circuit 20 sets up a target throttle opening degree based on the detected value of the acceleration sensor 13 or the like and makes feedback control of a throttle valve 4 via a motor 6. When the acceleration sensor 13 detects an operation amount except zero on the basis of the detected value from the acceleration pedal switch 16 with the accelerator not stepped on, the operation is decided as abnormal and an alarm lamp is turned on.
