PURPOSE:To obtain a high performance magnet having excellent magnetic characteristics by kneading magnetic powder obtained by pulverizing a thin piece having excellent magnetic characteristics in which a melt spinning method axis of easy magnetization is oriented in the thin piece surface with resin, and molding it in a magnetic field. CONSTITUTION:An alloy is formed of Y which contains at least one of Nd and Pr, rare earth element, B, Si or Si+Al, and the residue of Fe. The alloy is formed in a thin piece having excellent magnetic characteristics in which an axis of easy magnetization is oriented by a melt spinning method in the thin piece surface. Magnetic powder obtained by pulverizing the thin piece is kneaded with resin, and molded in a magnetic field. Thus, a high performance magnet having excellent magnetic characteristics can be obtained. |
