PROPYLENE RESIN COMPOSITION

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition having excellent plane impact resistance, rigidity and fluidity and suitable for the fields of electrical appliance, automobile, etc., by compounding a crystalline polypropylene with an ethylene- propylene copolymer and a specific amount of a nucleation agent. CONSTITUTION:(A) A crystalline polypropylene component is compounded with (B) an ethylene-propylene random copolymer component having a glass transition temperature of <=-30 deg.C and (C) a nucleation agent component. The weight ratio of A:B is 55:45-95:5 and the amount of the component C is 0.005-1pt.wt. per 100pts.wt. of the sum of the components A and B. The ratio of the intrinsic viscosity of the component A [eta]pp to that of the component B [eta]ep {[eta]ep/[eta]pp} is 0.5-2.0.
