PURPOSE:To obtain an antifungal agent for external use, containing griseofulvin having excellent antifungal action and griseofulvin dissolvent, e.g. benzyl nicotinate, etc., as an active ingredient and having high percutaneous absorbability without side effects. CONSTITUTION:An antifungal agent for external use obtained by containing griseofulvin expressed by the formula and one or two or more griseofulvin dissolvents selected from the group consisting of benzyl nicotinate, ethyl nicotinate, menthol, camphor, methyl salicylate, glycol salicylate, crotamiton, diphenhydramine and benzyl alcohol as an active ingredient. The griseofulvin is preferably blended in an amount of 0.01-20wt% and the minimum amount required of the griseofulvin dissolvents is 5-30pts.wt. based on 1pts.wt. griseofulvin. An absorption adjuvant, e.g. dimethyl sulfoxide, etc., can be contained in addition to the above-mentioned active ingredient. |
