PURPOSE:To maintain a stable developing property even if a toner is subjected to repeated developments by continuous use by forming the toner in such a manner that the primary particles of the coloring agent to be used make secondary flocculation to a spherical shape and that >=90% of the secondary spherical flocculated particles are of 1-100mum particle size. CONSTITUTION:This toner consists of at least a binder resin and coloring agent and is so formed that the primary particles of the coloring agent used make secondary flocculation to the spherical shape and that >=90% of the spherical secondary flocculated particles are 1-100mum grain size. Since the coloring agent is not of the primary particles but is flocculated to the spherical shape as the secondary particles, the initial dispersibility into the binder resin is improved and since the presence propability of the particles consisting of only the coloring agent is greatly decreased and the binder resin and coloring agent are thoroughly kneaded even if the coloring agent is classified to the toner of the adequate particle sizes, the welding of the toner to a toner conveying member and carrier is decreased. The stable developing property is, therefore, maintained and the sharp images are given even if the toner is subjected to the repetitive developments by the continuous use. |
