A device for protecting steel sheets (1) against erosion-corrosion in contact with water steam, comprising rectangular elements (2, 3, 4, 5) of oxidation resistant metal with folded longitudinal edges, called "tiles", these elements being mounted on the steel sheets and covering them and being able to slide with respect to the latter and being fixed by screwing on studs (9) which are welded on the inner surface of the steel sheets, characterized in that the screwing of the tiles is carried out perpendicularly to the steel sheets, and in that the folded longitudinal rims (6, 7) of the tiles (2, 3) are overlapping.</p> |
