发明名称 ELECTROLYTE REPLENISHING DEVICE FOR FUEL CELL
摘要 PURPOSE:To uniformly replenish a cell with an electrolyte by disposing a nozzle, from which electrolyte mists are generated, on an upstream part for a supplying gas, and by disposing demisters, which collect electrolyte mists, inside an electrode and forming a route on which the demister communicates with a matrix. CONSTITUTION:A unit cell is composed of a fuel electrode 3, an air electrode 4, and a matrix 5 which is interposed between the electrodes 3 and 4 and which contains phosphoric acids. A stack 1 is composed by laminating a plurality of these unit cells through separators 6. The stack 1 is equipped fixedly with manifolds 2a to 2c which have gas supplying/exhausting ports 9a to 9c respectively. A nozzle 10, from which phosphoric acids are made misty, is mounted through a connection jig 11 on the manifold 2a's supplying port 9a serving as the supplying side of a fuel gas. The fuel gas is mixed with the mists and supplied to the manifold 2a. Porous demisters 7 are buried in a gas channel on the fuel electrode 3, and passing routes 8 made of hydrophilic materials are disposed so that phosphoric acids can easily pass between the demisters 7 and the matrix 5.
