PURPOSE:To separate an antibody in high accuracy and reproducibility, by subjecting an antibody-containing liquid to chromatographic treatment using a column packed with aggregate of spherical hydroxyapatitie particles having specific particle diameter. CONSTITUTION:An antibody such as mouse monoclonal antibody is separated from a liquid containing said antibody by using a column packed (at a packing ratio of preferably >=75%) with aggregate of essentially spherical hydroxyapatite particles (preferably belonging to hexagonal system having unit lattice constant of 9.58+ or -0.08Angstrom for a-axis and 7.00+ or -0.05Angstrom for c-axis). THe median of the particle diameter is 1-10mum, preferably 1-3mum and >=90% of the particles have particle diameter of <=25mum. |
