<p>PURPOSE:To always exactly edit a document, etc. by setting the position concerned as an origin, by constituting the titled device so that when an arbitrary position on a coordinate instructing sheet is pressed, the coordinates of the position concerned are detected and stored. CONSTITUTION:A coordinate instructing sheet 1, the upper resistance sheet 2 for detecting the coordinates in one direction, and the lower resistance sheet 5 for detecting the coordinates in the other direction are laminated in this order. In this state, when the arbitrary position on the coordinate instructing sheet 1 is pressed, the coordinates of the pressed position on the upper resistance sheet 2 are detected and stored, and the coordinates of the pressed position on the lower resistance sheet 5 are detected and stored. Accordingly, even if the sticking position of the coordinate instructing sheet 1 to the upper resistance sheet 2 is deviated, when its coordinates are stored as an origin by pressing the origin displayed on this coordinate instructing sheet 1, an apparent origin and an actual origin coincide with each other.
