PURPOSE:To improve electrical conductivity, light shieldability, surface smoothness, adhesiveness, etc., by incorporating specific two kinds of carbon blacks into a soln. obtd. by dissolving a specific polyester resin into a solvent mixture composed of cyclohexanone, dioxane and propylene glycol monomethyl ether. CONSTITUTION:Both the carbon black having <=200m<2>/g BET specific surface area and <=1.2ml/g dibutyl phthalate (DBP) oil absorption and the carbon black having >=800m<2>/g BET specific surface area and >=2ml/g DBP oil absorption are incorporated into the soln. obtd. by preparing the polyester resin which is the ester formable dicarboxylic acid in which 5-20mol% of the dicarboxylic acid component contains the alkali metal base of sulfonic acid as a substituent into the soln. mixture composed of the cyclohexanone, dioxane and propylene glycol monomethyl ether are incorporated into a titled coating compd. The coating compd. for primer coating having the excellent conductivity, light shieldability, surface smoothness, coatability and change in viscosity after resting is thereby obtd.
