发明名称 FUEL CELL POWER GENERATING SYSTEM
摘要 PURPOSE:To simplify composition and to prevent polar reversion and polarization in a cell and to prevent electrodes from being dried by disposing flow rate controlling valves on supplying lines which exist between an oxidizer supplying device and an oxidizer electrode and between a fuel supplying device and a fuel electrode, and on by-pass lines which link the supplying lines to outlet sides of the electrodes. CONSTITUTION:At the start of a fuel cell 1, flow rate controlling valves 6a, 6b, 12a, 12b are completely closed and flow rate controlling valves 11a, 11b are opened and flow rate controlling valves 8a, 8b are opened, and so nitrogen is made to flow on fuel and oxidizer by-pass lines 10a and 10b. While a temperature of the cell 1 rises then, nitrogen does not flow into a fuel electrode 2 and an oxidizer electrode 3 because the flow rate controlling valves 12a and 12b are closed, and so polar reversion and polarization are prevented in the cell and the electrodes are prevented from being dried. Then, because outlets of the cell 1 join the by-pass lines, oxygen or the like is prevented from flowing into atmosphere. Successively, at a time when a temperature of the cell 1 rises up to its operating temperature, the flow rate controlling valves 8a, 8b, 11a, 11b are completely closed and the flow rate controlling valves 6a, 6b, 12a, 12b are opened, so that hydrogen and air are supplied to the fuel electrode 2 and the oxidizer electrode 3 from the fuel supplying device 4 and the oxidizer supplying device 5, respectively.
