PURPOSE:To obtain a hair tonic cosmetic having excellent effects, e.g. hair growth, hair nuturing, prevention of depilation and dandruff, etc., by blending specific low-molecular weight chondroitin sulfates having a specific average molecular weight with vitamin E. CONSTITUTION:A hair tonic cosmetic, obtained by blending (A) at least one of low-molecular weight chondroitin sulfate, readily and percutaneously absorbable, not only contributing to normalization of substrate components in the scalp but also capable of individually producing hair-matrix activating action and having 2,000-20,000, preferably 3,000-12,000 average molecular weight and salts thereof with (B) at least one selected from vitamin E having blood circulation promoting effects and derivatives thereof, particularly DL-alpha-tocopherol and capable of activating the hair-matrix cells by directly applying to the scalp and producing the above-mentioned effects. The amounts of the ingredients based on the total weight of the afore-mentioned cosmetic are 0.05-2.0wt% ingredient (A) and 0.01-2.0wt% ingredient (B), preferably at 1:0.01-1:1 weight ratio of the ingredients (A) to (B). |
