PURPOSE:To prevent a card from having a play and to perform a stable reading and writing processing by sandwiching and fixing the inserted card with its front and rear parts by a card locking mechanism and a 1st pusher mechanism, and sandwiching and fixing the card with the right and left parts by a 2nd pusher mechanism and a side wall. CONSTITUTION:A card detection lever 17 is provided as the 1st pusher mechanism which serves to press the card for fixation and push out the card for returning, and pressed and fixed so that the card 12 is sandwiched with the front and rear parts by a card lock claw 24 at the rear edge side facing the pusher mechanism. Further, a side control lever 32 as the 2nd pusher mechanism is arranged at the inner part which communicates with a card insertion slit 13 and one edge of the card 12 inserted to a card processing part 14 is pressed by a side control lever 32 to sandwich and fix the card with the side wall 31. Consequently, the card 12 is prevented completely from having a play and the card 12 is read and written stably.
