PURPOSE:To form moldings to a constant shape and density by mounting a hopper for supplying powder into a die to a reciprocative moving means for moving the hopper back and forth between a powder supply section and the die and connecting the hopper to a swiveling driving means. CONSTITUTION:The hopper 51 is held in the state that the hopper faces a power supply member 50. Dielectric powder P from the member 50 is supplied into the hopper 51. A slide 54 is advanced to move the hopper 51 toward the die 10 while a motor 55 is kept run at this time. The powder P falls from the hopper 51 into the die and the rotating force is exerted to the powder P, by which the powder P is spread to all the corners of the die 10. The hopper 51 is then reset to the powder supply section and the powder P is pressurized by actuating an upper punch 21 and a lower punch 12 and is thereby molded. The molding is formed to the constant shape and density regardless of the shapes of the die by this method.
