PURPOSE:To produce a nozzle superior in directional properties of ink and capable of obtaining a good-quality fine drip, by a method wherein a photoresist pattern of a specific shape is provided on a metal substrate, and a plating technique and an etching technique are combined. CONSTITUTION:Prior to etching, a photoresist pattern (A) having a diameter at least larger than that of an opening to be formed into a desired size is provided on the surface of a metal substrate 1. A doughnut-form photoresist pattern (B) is formed around the pattern (A) with a fixed gap. On the reverse side of the metal substrate 1, a perforated photoresist pattern (C) is positioned coaxially with the pattern (A). On the surface side of the metal substrate 1, metal plating layers 21, 22, and 23 are grown by electrodeposition until the desired diameter, i.e. the diameter to be opened on the metal substrate 1, is obtained, whereby a metal plating layer 2 with the opening of the desired diameter (R) is obtained. Etching is applied from the side of the pattern (C). A nozzle is obtained by peeling the exposed photoresist patterns (A) and (C). |
