The pump comprises a housing 1 in which is mounted a rotor 2, the housing being fitted with an axial inlet orifice 3 and with a tangential outlet orifice 5 provided at the end of a collecting casing 6 made in the housing at the periphery of the rotor 2, which rotor includes channels 13 extending from an axial passage 14 as far as the collecting casing 6, the channels 13 of the rotor being entirely bounded by walls belonging to this rotor, namely a bottom wall 15, an annular wall 16 remote from the bottom wall, and separation walls 17 constituting fins. The bottom wall 15 and the annular wall 16 are made up of two different components which are assembled rigidly to one another as well as to the separation walls 17 in order to produce the rotor 2. <IMAGE>
