Selected areas of pressure-sensitive recording material are rendered insensitive to pressure by applying an adduct of an alkylene diamine and a polypropylene oxide H-(OR)xR1N-R2-N((RO-)yH)(RO-)zH)R or (H-(OR)k)(H-(OR)1)N-R2-N((RO-)mH)((RO-)nH) where R is -CH2CH(CH3)-R1 is 10-24 C alkyl, R2 is 2-6C alkyl and k, l, m, n, x, y and z are each integers.
