Tack welding fixture - with power operated location and thrust for webs on ships' hulls

Several webs can be located at right angles to a base plate prior to tack welding by a gantry on rollers which straddles all webs and holds them between fluid-power actuated rollers. Other fluid-power actuated rollers exert a down pressure on the webs. When tack welding has been completed, the whole gantry can be moved on rollers longitudinally or laterally.
