Perforated wall serving to blow air into an air-conditioned chamber. This wall comprises an internal partition provided with a plurality of orifices 5 which allow air to pass inside the chamber, this partition 3 having a series of elongate recesses 4 forming parallel channels, the openings of which face towards the inside of the chamber, and each of these recesses 4 is pierced with a row of orifices 5 uniformly distributed over its entire length, the said orifices 5 emerging on the inside of the recess 4 in a direction substantially parallel to the partition, preventing jet effects. Application to various treatments by exposure of articles contained in the chamber to conditioned air having well-determined physico-chemical characteristics, with homogeneous distribution of air. <IMAGE>
