PURPOSE:To obtain delicate picture quality without fog by using a laser beam to scan a sample face and forming a magnified sample image through a lens from a transmitted or a reflected light onto a line image sensor and forming a hard copy from a picture data of the sensor. CONSTITUTION:The R, G, B laser light beams from lasers 1-3 scan the face of a sample 15 via a reflection mirror 4, dichroic mirrors 5, 6, reflection mirror 7, a scanning system 8, a reflection mirror 11, a half mirror 12 and a objective lens 13. The reflected light is separated into the R, G, B by mirrors 16-18 via the objective lens 13, the half mirror 12 and the sample magnified image is formed on CCD sensors 19-21. A picture data is stored in a memory 22 and picture processing is applied by a picture processing unit 23 and the result is displayed on a TV monitor 24. On the other hand, the picture data form the unit 23 is converted into Y, M, C color signals by a complementary color converter 25 and converted into a serial signal by parallel/serial converter 26, a head 28 is subjected to heat control via a driver 27 and the image is transferred onto image paper 31 from a thermosensing transfer film 30.
