PURPOSE:To obtain the pulse counting system without count error by using a counter having a preset pulse application terminal and using a load signal to fetch the signal at the said application terminal to the inside of the counter. CONSTITUTION:With a latch signal 10 is turned on, a load signal 17 is at an L level and counters 21, 22 stop their operation, then the counter 21 cannot count the next pulse even if a pulse CP to be counted comes. The load signal LD being the inverted latch signal is fed to the load signal terminal of the counters 21, 22 at the next time. In such a case, the pulse CP is applied from a signal line 51 at the terminal 21-p of the counter 21 and the potential at the preset terminals 21-p, 22-p goes to '1'. In case of up-count, the level of the preset pulse application terminal goes to '1' and the signal is loaded in the counter at the leading of the clock 8. When the next pulse CP comes, the counter 21 counts it and the count data reaches 2. |
