PURPOSE:To simplify a control system and eliminate a malfunction due to noise by controlling an inverter output current and voltage with a load voltage phase so that said output current and voltage have the same phase. CONSTITUTION:In an operation controlling method for a current type inverter, UP, Down signals causing a supply voltage to a voltage controlled oscillator to rise and fall for raising and lowering a frequency are obtained and supplied via discriminator circuit 1, LpF (D-pass filter) 2, and voltage control signal 3 to cause an inverter output voltage to rise and fall. A logical circuit for said inverter is composed of an exclusive OR element ex-OR inputting a signal A when a positive load voltage appears in a load, signal B when a positive output current flows through the inverter, and signal C with a phase delayed always 90 deg. as compared with said signal A respectively, and a logical product element AND; and said AND output signal is a pulse having a width corresponding to an advance and delay as compared with a reference signal so that a stable operation maintaining a phase difference 0 deg. can be performed.
