More specifically, the thin ferromagnetic metallic film 2 consisting of Co, Co-Cr, Co-O, etc., is formed by an electron beam vapor deposition method, high-frequency sputtering method, etc., on the high-polymer film 1 consisting of PE terephthalate, polysulfone, etc., and thereafter, the protective film 3 is formed thereon by executing the polymn. vapor deposition. The ratio at which the high polymer subjected to the sputtering vapor coats the surface of the fine columnar crystal particles constituting the thin film 2, therefore, increases and the adhesive improves greatly. The polymerized film is epitaxially grown with said part as a nucleus. The durability is thereby improved even with the thin polymerized film and the degradation in the high density recording characteristic by a spacing loss is prevented.
