In a windscreen wiper installation for motor vehicles, each wiper blade holder (2) has two wiper arms (5,6) articulated over bearing points (7,8 and 3,4) in such a manner that they form a parallel guide for the wiper blade holder (2), holding it in an approximately vertical position. The length of each wiper arm (5,6) is further adjusted up to a maximum amount (10), depending on the swivelling angle (double-arrow 9), thus covering an approximately rectangular wiping field (11). The application contains further embodiments adjusting the length of the wiper arms (5,6). |
