发明名称 NONAQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE SECONDARY BATTERY
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery having a long charge/ discharge life and a high reliability to be obtained by providing a porous material having a high liquid absorbing rate of an electrolyte than a positive electrode between a negative electrode and a separetor. CONSTITUTION:When a porous material 7 having a high liquid absorbing rate is provided between a metal material 3 of a negative electrode and a separator 6, the electrolyte is kept sufficiently in the negative electrode side. On the other hand, when the porous material 7 not exists, the electrolyte in the negative electrode side exists only in the interface between a metal material surface and the separator 6, so a electrolyte quantity is very few. The metal material 3 is made minute and fine by a charge and diacharge as the porous material 7 is provided on the surface of the metal material 3, and the electrolyte is made to be supplied from the porous material provided to the metal surface even the electrolyte is insufficient within the metal material 3. Therefore, an ununiformity of a charging/discharging current density distribution caused by an electrolyte shortage in the negative electrode is difficult to occur, and a resistance increase in a battery is prevented. This enables a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery having a long charge/discharge life and a high reliability to be obtained.
