Automatic shower control system

In a device for automatically controlling sanitary showers with a proximity switch, it is proposed, for ease of handling of the shower control unit, that in the region of the shower there be arranged, in an easily accessible position, a turning-on switch which is to be actuated by hand and by means of which the water outflow can be switched on for a specific period, the water outflow then being determined by the proximity switch.
