Each room has a separate input air unit and output air unit, or, alternatively, a common output air unit may be used for a number of rooms. Each group of rooms, e.g. apartment, has a unit which is fed with input air and distributes is separately to each room. This unit contains a heating element which can either be electrical or fed with waterborne heat. - The input and output air system contain one or more air treatment units, such as heat exchangers, air filters, heaters, coolers and fans.
