摘要 PURPOSE:To decide the size, configuration, etc., of a intruder and to discriminate a moving direction from the variation state of a signal by composing a detector of plural heat ray converging mirrors, a heat ray detector, an arithmetic circuit, etc. CONSTITUTION:Heat ray converging mirrors 1-9 consisting of convex lenses made of materials which transmit a heat ray are arranged in a matrix. Those are so set as to project images having mutually different visual fields on the same position and an image observation device 10 is equipped with, for example, 16 heat ray detectors 11-26, and resistances 27 are connected to the respective elements in parallel and their one-terminal sides are connected to the gates of field effect transistors 28. Signals obtained from output terminals 29-44 of the transistors 28 are further amplified 45-60 and applied to an arithmetic circuit 61 to which output signal is supplied to an alarm 62. Then, the size and operation track of the intruder are detected from a continuous increase or decrease of the outputs of the plural detectors.
