Mixed polyols for polyurethane panel mfr. by continuous sheeting, are made by (a) alkoxylating sucrose with propylene oxide in presence of the minimum amount of water for re-circulation and a basic catalyst and vacuum distn.; (b) mixing with an aliphatic or aromatic primary amine with at least 3 active gps.; (c) contg. alkoxylation with more alkylene oxide to a suitable value; and opt. (d) adding other polyols to correct the hydroxyl value to 500-600.
