PURPOSE:To perform the dimming operation of an electronic flash even when a still video back is mounted by providing a means which outputs a photometric signal even in the still video back. CONSTITUTION:When the still video back 17 is fitted to a camera body 1, an operation switch S5 turns on the set a changeover switch 16 on the side of a contact B. When a light emission part 9 emits light in this state, light 19 from an object is guided to a photoelectric compression element D3 by a light branching means M2 and the output current is compressed logarithmically by a converting circuit 21 and added to a voltage V3 conforming with the sensitivity of a solid state image pickup element, so that the sum is sent to the camera body side through terminals T8 and T7. The signal is led to a transistor Q1 for expansion through the changeover switch 16 on the side of the camera body 1 to charge a capacitor C1. When the quantity of the electric charging reaches a proper exposure level, a comparator 7 outputs a light emission stop signal. |
