PURPOSE:To obtain a warning device which is free from misjudgment by allowing a receiver to receive radio waves from transmitters that plural ship passengers carry respectively at all times, and stopping a transmitter from sending a radio wave if a passenger whose carries the transmitter falls from a ship. CONSTITUTION:The warning device consists of plural transmitters 2 which have characteristic frequencies and the receiver 2 which has reception channels corresponding to the frequencies of the transmitters 2. The receiver 1 receives the radio waves from the transmitters that plural passengers carry respectively at all times and if some passenger falls from the ship, the transmitter 2 that the passenger carries stops sending the radio wave and the interlocking state of the normal radio wave with the receiver 1 is switched to generate a warning. Then when a transmitter 2 is set on a charger at the end of the embarkation, the corresponding reception channel of the receiver 1 is closed and when some transmitter 2 is taken out of this charger at the start of next embarkation, the reception channel of the receiver 1 corresponding to the oscillation frequency of this transmitter 2 operates and the receiver becomes ready to receive. The reception channels corresponding to transmitters 2 which are not taken out are still closed.
