<p>A mechanism for positioning an intermediate plate in a twin clutch, having a seat (30) parallel to a clutch shaft (3) and provided on the outer circumferential portion of an intermediate plate (9), a slidable plate (31) applied to the seat (30) so that the slidable plate (31) can be moved slidingly in the axial direction only of the clutch, a bolt (33) engaged with the seat (30) through an elongated bore (32) provided in the slidable plate (31) and extending in the axial direction of the clutch shaft, and a cone spring (36) provided between the slidable plate (31) and a bolt head (33) and used to control the sliding movement of the slidable plate (31), characterized in that, during the clutch-connecting time, in which the intermediate plate (9) is moved toward a flywheel (2) to cause one end of the slidable plate (31) to contact the flywheel (2), a clearance (L1), which corresponds to the quantity of return of the intermediate plate at the clutch-disconnecting time, is formed between the other end of the slidable plate (31) and a spacer (5).</p> |
