PURPOSE:To transmit lots of kinds of originals and to decrease the transmission time of picture information by detecting a form printed on an original and carrying the paper on which the identical form is printed. CONSTITUTION:A reading signal 4 reading a form designation mark provided on an original is applied to a data buffer 5, from which a parallel signal 6 in response to the marking state of the form designation mark is applied to a decoder 7. The decoder 7 discriminates the kind of the form, applies the result 8 of discrimination to an ROM9 and transmits it to the receiving side of facsimile. A data in response to the kinds of the form is registered in an ROM1 and when the result 8 of discrimination is applied thereto, the corresponding form is designated, and only the data of the flame part of the designated format is read and transmitted to the receiving side. |
