Title electrodes contain mixtures of carbon black with chelate metal complexes derived from salicylaldehyde or its homologues and a diamine (Pfeiffer's complexes), pref. polymeric cpds. contg. a transition metal atom (pref. Co) as the central atom. They are highly resistant against hot H2SO4, and have high catalytic activity. |
