<p>PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of a primary coil by providing a flexible waterproof layer for blocking the magnetic path connecting end of a first laminated core on the inner wall of a housing to prevent water from invading to a second laminated core, thereby preventing the coil from decreasing its performance. CONSTITUTION:Flexible waterproof layers 5a, 5b made of waterproof tapes are so bonded from means 26, 27 of a housing 2 to inner walls 21a, 21b as to block the magnetic path connecting end faces 31, 32 of a first laminated core 3. Since the tapes 5a, 5b are flexible even if the housing 2 is expanded or contracted, no crack occurs. Thus, water which arrives at the end faces 31, 32 is always completely shielded by the tapes 5a, 5b, and not invaded to a second laminated core 4. Thus, it can prevent a primary winding 60 from submerged in the water. When the water particularly contains salt content, the insulating film of the winding 60 is hydrolyzed to short-circuit the winding 60 or to short-circuit the winding 60 with the core 4, thereby preventing a primary coil 6 from partly reducing its performance.</p> |
