<p>A system comprises a processor (102), a control program memory (101), a keyboard (104), a display (105), a disk controller (106) and a RAM (103) which has a U-code conversion G-code conversion table (GTB), a M-code conversion table (MTB) and a coordinate value instruction code conversion table (PTB). NC data of first type are transferred from a floppy disk to the RAM (103) and using the conversion tables (GTB,MTB,PTB) converted into NC data of second type, word by word. For example 'G50' in the first format becomes 'G92' in the second format; 'M02' becomes 'M03'.</p> |
