PURPOSE:To shorten the time for carrying in and out of works to be processed without causing interference by using two arms in different types for carrying in and out, by allowing the carry-out arm to operate precedently, and by driving thereafter the two arms simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:The tip of a carry-out arm 3 fixed to the center of No.1 support shaft 1 has an L-shaped gripper 31 to constitute a guide for works to be processed. A carry-in arm 4 is fixed to the center of No.2 support shaft 2 approx. parallelly at both outer sides of the carry-out arm 3. A grinding machine M holds a work W between spindle table M1 and tail stock M2, and a grinding wheel of grinder table M3 grinds the outside surface of the work into an intended cam face. On a support table 72 are fixed a pair of sensors 25, 26 to sense the rotating angle of the shaft 2, and a set of sensors 27, 28 to sense the shift position in the axial direction. The carry-out arm is put in operation precedently, and thereafter the two types of arms are driven simultaneously to ensure carrying in and out free from interference. |
