PURPOSE:To improve the yield and sealing capacity of an impregnating material by putting die casting parts in an impregnating tank, carrying out deairing, supplying an impregnating liquid from an impregnating liquid storage tank having a nearly equally reduced pressure, and impregnating said parts under pressure, and then, returning the impregnating liquid afterward by means of that pressure. CONSTITUTION:Die casting parts 8 are put in an impregnating tank 5, a valve 17 is opened, and the pressure is reduced to about 5m bar by means of a vacuum pump 12 to carry out the deairing of the parts 8. At the same time, a valve 18 is opened also reducing the pressure in an impregnating liquid storage tank 6. Then, a valve 9 is opened allowing an impregnating liquid 7 to move to the impregnating tank 5 and, then, the valves 9, 17 are closed, a valve 16 is opened, and the inside of the tank 5 is pressurized by means of a booster pump 13, to carry out impregnation. After the impregnation is over, the impregnating liquid is returned by utilizing the pressure within the impregnating tank. A small differential pressure at the time when the impregnating liquid is moving, prevents air from being drawn in, improving the sealing capacity. |
