PURPOSE:To simplify the programming operation of a program pattern by providing the titled device with function keys for setting up a partial pattern format consisting of two segments. CONSTITUTION:A 1st composite key 1 capable of specifying an up lamp 1a integratedly with a sork 1b and a 2nd composite key 2 capable of specifying a down lamp 2a integratedly with a sork 2b are formed on an control panel P of a device body together with other function keys. When the 1st composite key 1 is depressed, display elements 13, 16 are turned on and a pattern format in execution is displayed. While observing the ON states of display elements 14, 18, an operator inputs pattern data corresponding to the ON display elements similarly to an ordinary method. When the 2nd composite key 2 is depressed, display elements 12, 17 are turned on and a pattern format in execution is similarly displayed. Consequently, a pattern based on a pair of the sork and the lamp is inputted and the number of key depression can be reduced.
