PURPOSE:To protect a telephone number stored in a storage means from malfunction by deleting a former telephone number stored in the storage means if a telephone number storage command signal and a telephone number signal with prescribed digit numbers are inputted in a control means. CONSTITUTION:The former telephone number stored in a memory 15 is not deleted even if the telephone number storage command signal is inputted to a control microcomputer 3, but the former telephone number stored in the memory 15 is deleted only when the telephone number signal with prescribed digit numbers subsequent to the telephone number storage command signal is inputted to the computer 3, whereby the new telephone number inputted to the computer 3 is stored in the memory 15. Thus, the telephone number can be prevented from being errorneously deleted due to malfunction, and a trouble such as to input the telephone number again due to an errorneous deletion can be removed. The inability of the transfer of a caller's necessary message due to an errorneous deletion is prevented.
