<p>A bag assembly for collecting fluids discharged from a patient comprises a bag (10) and at least one strap (16) connected to the bag (10) and adapted to secure the bag to a limb of the patient. The strap (16) is made of an elasticated fabric and carries on the face thereof intended to contact the patient's limb at least one bead (22) of a silicone rubber material. The two end portions (17,19) of the strap (16) carry the respective components (18,20) of a two-component hook-and-loop fastener to allow the two end portions to be fastened together in an adjustable manner.</p> |
