PURPOSE:To dissipate a reflected wave by measuring a flow velocity at plural points in the water depth direction of the center part of a water tank, obtaining a flow velocity signal, and moving forward and backward a wave dissipating plate by this flow velocity signal. CONSTITUTION:A flow meter 11 placed in the water depth direction is placed at a position of Y/N from a wave making plate 3 when a distance between the wave making plate 3 and a wave dissipating plate 2 is denoted as Y. Each signal obtained by the flow meter 11 is recorded as a flow velocity signal 13 in a data recorder 12. Subseqently, the signal 13 is magnified to N, times and operates each actuator 15 as a wave dissipating signal 17. The wave making plate 3 is operated by a wave making signal 6. At the same time, a wave dissipating plate 14 is delayed by a prescribed time by a wave dissipating signal 17 and moved forward and backward. As a result, it looks like as if a fluid in a water tank 1 is continuous, and wave energy transmits through the wave dissipating plate 14. Accordingly, by constituting in this way, a reflected wave is scarcely generated and it can be dissipated. |
