PURPOSE:To offer a circuit for a mixer or a modulator with a small area by constituting the titled circuit by a differential amplifier circuit employing two dual gate FETs. CONSTITUTION:The two dual gate FETs 1 are used for a mixer or a modulator and a constant current source 12 is used for the source 7. Gates 10, 11 are used as an RF signal input terminal 3 and an LO signal input terminal 4 respectively and a signal is inputted to them, then an inverted IF signal appears at two drains 9. The signals are combined through capacitors 15 and the result is extracted from an IF signal output terminal 5. Thus, no 180 deg. phase converter is required for the circuit constitution.
